Elara feature
Shoppers see the outfit on themselves. Before they buy.
Return rates in fashion ecommerce average 25 to 40 percent. Most are styling-decision failures, not sizing failures. When a shopper sees a complete, personalized outfit on their own body before purchasing, the decision is better informed.

How it works
From outfit to try-on in one tap.
01
Elara builds the outfit first
The virtual try-on isn’t a standalone widget. It’s the final step in the styling conversation. When a complete outfit appears, try on this look is available in one tap.

02
The shopper uploads or uses an existing photo
On first use, the shopper uploads a photo. After the first session, Elara remembers it. Return visitors go directly from outfit to try-on with no re-upload.

03
The outfit appears on them
The complete look, every piece assembled by Elara, is applied to their photo. They see top, bottom, and accessory together on their body, at their proportions.

Confident decision, fewer returns
The shopper buys knowing how the outfit looks on them. Not on a model. Not on a hanger. On them. The gap between what I thought I was buying and what arrived closes significantly.
Purchased · kept
Returns fall when shoppers see it on themselves first.

Frequently asked questions
Does virtual try-on work for all garment types?
VTO works best for tops, dresses, kurtas, skirts, and outerwear. It works with good accuracy for pants. Accessories are shown as positioned overlays rather than draped items.
Does it slow down my store?
No. The VTO module loads asynchronously and only when a shopper taps try on this look. It does not affect your Lighthouse score or page load time.
How is Elara's VTO different from standalone virtual try-on apps?
Standalone VTO apps show a single product on a shopper. Elara's VTO shows a complete outfit, assembled by the AI for that shopper's occasion and taste, on that shopper's body.
How accurate is the virtual try-on?
Accuracy depends on photo quality and garment type. Structured garments render most accurately. Loose or heavily draped fabrics have lower accuracy and Elara flags these automatically.
Is the shopper's photo stored securely?
Yes. Photos are stored with AES-256 encryption, tied to the shopper's session, and never shared with other brands. Shoppers can delete their stored photo at any time.
