Elara feature
A taste model that learns with every visit.
Most personalization tools remember what shoppers bought. Elara’s Style Graph learns what they like, their aesthetic, their occasions, their taste in silhouette and color. Every interaction adds to the model.

How it works
How the Style Graph builds and compounds.
01
First visit: the brief and the signals
On a shopper’s first visit, Elara takes their occasion brief and their interaction signals, which pieces they respond to, which they skip, what size they confirm. The Style Graph initializes from this first session.

Every interaction trains the model
Every like, skip, outfit request, and completed purchase adds a data point. Elara understands not just what the shopper bought, but what they considered and didn’t.

03
Recommendations compound over time
By the third or fourth visit, the Style Graph has enough data to produce recommendations that feel like they came from someone who knows the shopper’s taste.

The iOS app carries it over
If the shopper uses the Elara iOS consumer app, their Style Graph data is portable. Elara already knows their taste from app interactions, even on a first brand visit.
Why this matters
Compounds
More accurate with every visit, most visible by visit four
Carries over
iOS app shoppers arrive with a pre-built taste model
Converts faster
Repeat visitors with an established Style Graph
Frequently asked questions
What data does the Style Graph store?
Aesthetic preference signals, silhouette and color affinities, occasion contexts, and behavioral patterns like session frequency and price range. It does not store personal information beyond a session identifier and, if shared, email and size.
Is the Style Graph shared across brands?
No. Each brand's Style Graph data is private and exclusive to that brand. The exception is the Elara iOS app, where a shopper's cross-brand graph can be optionally shared, opt-in only.
Can I see what the Style Graph knows about a shopper?
Yes. The merchant dashboard shows Style Graph summaries per shopper, their recent occasion contexts, dominant aesthetic preferences, and the products that most influenced their taste model.
How long does it take for the Style Graph to be meaningful?
A single session with a complete outfit interaction gives enough signal to be useful. Three to four sessions produce a model that meaningfully outperforms a cold start.
What happens to the Style Graph if a shopper doesn't return for 90 days?
The Style Graph is preserved indefinitely. For gaps over 180 days, Elara applies a decay factor to older signals while preserving core aesthetic preferences.
